Coined by Neville Goddard in the early 1900s, the Law of Assumption is a mode of manifestation. In recent years it has grown in popularity and can be found on TikTok, Reddit, and Twitter with thousands of stories of desires materializing. So, what is the Law of Assumption? How does it work?

A Simple Trip Turned Into a Lifetime of Discussion

One Christmas, Neville Goddard desperately wanted to make it home to Barbados from NYC. He longed for his family during the holidays but saw no way of getting there. He had no money and no prospects for travel. In an effort to quell his sadness he reached out to his spiritual teacher Abdullah.

Goddard explained his situation and Abdullah responded, “Live as though you are there in Barbados. And surely you shall be”. So that is exactly what he did. Goddard embodied the feeling of being at his family’s home in Barbados for the holidays. Then the magic happened- the exact money needed for his trip turned up.

This was the first time Neville Goddard practiced the Law of Assumption, but it surely wasn’t the last.

Where to Begin?

The Law of Assumption asks you to call on the feeling of your wish fulfilled. Using visualization and imagination you have the power to manifest you desires! The steps are simple, really.
