How Can Gratitude Change Your Life?
Thanksgiving isn’t the only time you should be expressing your gratitude! Being thankful is an integral part of good mental health. A positive psychology research group at Harvard found that gratitude is consistently and strongly associated with overall happiness. Practicing gratitude can help you feel more positive emotionally, improve your physical health, focus on positive experiences, deal with negativity in a helpful way, and build strong relationships with others.
Benefits of Gratitude
Gratitude makes you feel good, and if you believe in the power of manifestation it raises your vibrational set point.
Here are some other benefits:
- Improves your physical health — according to a 2012 study, grateful people report feeling healthier. Grateful people are also more likely to take care of their health as well!
- Reduces Negative Emotions (Including Stress)— by focusing on the positives, grateful people reduce their feelings of sadness, envy, irritation, resentment, frustration, and regret (as well as others).
