The title of this makes it seem so easy. One thing you can do to help your anxiety. But, I am going to warn you now. The one thing is a big thing! Do you want to know what it is? TRUSTING YOURSELF.

Obviously, this is a pretty big ask. Learning to trust yourself can be a lifelong process. Especially if you weren't taught to trust your own guidance from a young age. I promise, that learning to trust yourself is worth the work.

How Can Trusting Myself Make A Difference?

Well, that’s a good question. Let’s go over a scenario:

You are getting ready for something big. A social event, perhaps? It’s an event that aligns with you and your goals. It has people you love and people you don’t know. There’s a rough itinerary. You know when and where to meet. When you think about the event, you feel excited! You are happy to have a fun activity to go to, meet new people, and hang out with old friends. But when you really start mulling over the upcoming event, you begin to spiral. Your anxious tendencies start to bubble up. And you begin to think of everything that could go wrong.
